You will explore use cases for each app and build skills to prepare mobile teams to support data-collection scenarios ranging from simple to complex.
Software
Esri will provide the following software to use during class:
- ArcGIS Online
- ArcGIS Field Maps
- ArcGIS QuickCapture
- ArcGIS Survey123
Goals
- Choose the optimal ArcGIS app based on your project needs and field data-collection environment.
- Prepare for a data-collection project by configuring layers, maps, content access, tasks, and other properties within your ArcGIS organization.
- Configure field apps that support efficient data collection using forms, maps, and rapid data capture.
Suggested Skills
This course assumes familiarity with ArcGIS Online organizations and ArcGIS Enterprise portals. Completion of Introduction to GIS Using ArcGIS or Sharing Content to ArcGIS Enterprise or equivalent knowledge is required.
