What type of projects do our Business Consultants work on?
As a Business Consultant, my work focuses on ensuring our clients maximize their investment by offering the right Esri GIS solution. I act as the critical link between the business leadership and the technical delivery team. For a recent client project, the core challenge was to structure their existing data and leverage the Esri platform for immediate value. By conducting interviews with the client, I mapped the client's business needs and translated these into a structured solution design. This involved not only presenting use cases and defining the functional requirements but also providing guidance where needed. Once the platform was configured according to their specific needs, I led the development of a first map, demonstrating immediate value from their own data. Simultaneously, I provided ongoing user support, coaching, and comprehensive training to staff with no or little prior GIS experience, so that they can work independently with our solutions and continue to derive value from their data. My added value is guaranteeing that every feature implemented directly supports the client's strategic objectives and leads to a successful, validated outcome. I ensure the final solution meets business and financial expectations and functions as intended in operational environments.
